2026 Emmys Jewelry: An Either/Or Proposition
Stars wore either a necklace or earrings at 78th Primetime Emmy Awards but rarely both, Natalie Francisco notes.

That is, unless the celebrity wore a standout necklace. In that case, they walked the blue carpet without earrings at the awards ceremony, which was held Monday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles to honor the best in television.
White metals continued to trend and pearls were added to the list of go-to materials for celebrities like “Euphoria” star Zendaya in Mikimoto’s “Petals” collection and Ayo Edebiri of “The Bear,” who also wore Mikimoto pieces.
Read on to see my favorite jewelry looks from the Emmys that both fit and defy the trends seen on the award show’s peacock blue carpet.
Shailene Woodley
I’ve been obsessed with the HOWL necklace she wore since it debuted at Couture earlier this year.
It features 13 hand-carved Venetian glass pieces in HOWL’s 18-karat yellow gold “Crest” setting spaced by 3.08 carats of old European-cut diamonds.
Lisa Rinna
The high jewelry piece by Jacob & Co. centers a 42.73-carat octagonal blue sapphire framed by marquise- and round-cut diamonds in white gold suspended from a diamond line necklace with a second blue sapphire.
For Rinna’s look she kept the focus on the necklace, styling it with a pair of diamond studs, a simple ring on one hand and a large cocktail ring on the other.
Selena Gomez
For her earrings she chose a trailing pair of “Bird on a Rock by Tiffany & Co. Feathers” featuring more than 2 carats of diamonds set in platinum with accents of 18-karat yellow gold.
She coordinated it with the matching “Bird on a Rock by Tiffany & Co. Feathers” bracelet that uses more than 10 carats of diamonds with platinum and 18-karat yellow gold.
For her rings she styled the gold, platinum, and diamond “Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. Stitches” ring with the “Jean Sclumberger by Tiffany & Co. Vigne” ring, and the “Sixteen Stone by Tiffany & Co.” ring in yellow gold and platinum with diamonds.
Gomez styled these jewels with a gold Louis Vuitton dress evoking old Hollywood glamour.
“Hacks” star and Emmy nominee Meg Stalter walked the blue carpet painted head to toe in gold to transform herself into the Emmy statuette.
Her look included gold jewelry and while there’s no word yet on who the designer was, we can confirm that Stalter stayed on trend, too: she wore a necklace but no earrings.
